Water 4 Gas - Is It A Scam?

Whenever you turn on the television news you see just how pricy gas is getting, and you may wonder if there is a way to use water 4 gas. With all the tension in the Middle East and oil prices soaring to record highs almost every day, the need for an alternative fuel is quickly becoming a necessity.

Solar was a huge advancement as an energy source. You can go to just about any town or city out there and see houses with solar cells sitting on the roof. But this has proven a bit unreliable in the automotive industry. Maybe once they get the solar cells to high yield efficiency, then having a solar powered car will be more acceptable.

Electric cars have been around for quite a number of years, and with new technology they seem to be improving by leaps and bounds over solar. Unfortunately, you still have to plug them in to recharge them every night as well as after a certain number of miles.

This brings us to a water powered car. Water 4 gas seems to be one of those fantasy realm inventions. However, many people have claimed to rig up their vehicle to use water for gas which also increases the mileage per gallon. There are a lot of skeptics out there who say it just won’t work with the technology we have today. If you search the internet, you can see many videos and testimonies that prove otherwise.

You first must understand that you aren’t actually using the water 4 gas. You have to first deconstruct the water into two different gasses: hydrogen and oxygen. Once you have the water broken down into the gases, it is pumped into the engine and burned as gasoline would be. With the combination of oxygen and hydrogen there is no need for the fuel mixture to become oxygenated as in a regular carburetor or fuel injection system. This gives a bit more power in the system as long as you have the gas mixture set right.

There are a few kits available that allow you to use both the water and gas for fuel systems. These are a bit more expensive, however, because of the different flow gauges that are needed and the switches needed to change between one system and the other. This allows you to get well over 300 miles a gallon! Now, that is what fuel efficiency is all about.

You can choose to do this all by yourself, but it would probably be a bit smoother if you have a qualified mechanic set the system up for you. Unless you are very familiar with how an internal combustion engine works, a mechanic would be the easiest and safest way to go when turning your car into a water 4 gas car.
